Lovely vintage 1940s women's dress with matching jacket out of smooth navy blue rayon with a whimsical butterfly,plaid and floral print. The dress has short, one piece sleeves,and a loose bodice with a front drape falling from the scoop neckline. The skirt has front pleats and is flat to the hips the rest of the way, with the skirt falling gracefully. left side zip.
The little jacket which could be worn with something else for versatility, is a loose, unlined affair with no lining, 3/4 cuffed sleeves and no shoulder pads. It closes at the waist with 4 covered buttons and loops.It has two curved pockets. The label is "Young Viewpoint".
