This is an early 60s 2-piece sheath dress and cropped jacket set. The fabric is a beautiful green-gold colour in a slub weave silk. The dress has short sleeves and a cinched waist with the skirt being slightly gathered at the front. There is a decorative tie at the front waist. The cropped jacket has elbow-length sleeves, a curved hem and 3 large buttons to close. Fully lined (except sleeves).

Suzy Perette was a New York based clothing manufacturing company that began by making affordable (yet quality) versions of Parisian designs in the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s (made possible through an arrangement between the owner of Suzy Perette and Christian Dior). It operated from the 1940s to the 1970s. Iconic Perette designs remain high in demand by vintage enthusiasts today.
